Tomorrow is a BIG day for our friend Tim Mosedale and an early start for Paul from KCAB. Tim runs climbing expeditions in the Himalaya and was in Nepal during the recent devastating earthquake. Having witnessed the aftermath first hand, Tim is about to begin an extraordinary ultra endurance challenge to help raise much needed funds to help support the families of those Nepalis who lost their lives at Everest base camp in April.
This evening at 6 pm. Tim will set off on the first leg of his challenge which is to cycle 112 miles taking in 11,000ft of ascent! Tim will then meet Paul who is paddling the support boat at the lakeshore in Keswick at around 4.30am to swim the length of Derwent Water twice!
This would be more than enough for most, but after his swim Tim will set off on the last leg of his mammoth challenge, the Bob Graham round. This is a Fell run through the cumbrian mountains of 66 miles and 27,000ft of ascent!
This really is an extraordinary challenge, and every penny we can raise will help the people of Nepal who are in desperate need of our support.
You can donate by visiting this link or you can text FFBG48 £5 to 70070 (or any other amount should you feel so inclined).

Thanks’ for your support and good luck Tim!
